ROTOGRAVURE PRINTING
Rotogravure printing process is the high speed printing process in flexible industries. It is roll to roll printing process with the speed of upto 400-500 mtr/min. Gravure printing. basically prints on low thickness printing material like PET/BOPP/NYLON/PVC/LD etc. For this process excellent impression rubber rollers. required. Based on that Zenith has formulated a special compound for Gravure Printing.

This specially formulated rubber compound for the printing industry, provides an excellent resistance to solvent base ink, chemical, pressure and heat with the best of its physical properties. It stands as the most ideal rubber for rotogravure and printing applications.
ROTOGRAVURE IMPRESSION (NIP) RUBBER ROLLERS
Characteristics of the Gravure Printing rubber rollers have been highlighted below. Excellent Solvent and Chemical resistance: As this industries uses various types of inks which contains different types of solvints and chemical which is used to maintain ink viscosity or flow at the the time of printing. Zenith rubber compound has been formulated
to withstand such usages.
Hardness stability: – As in all types of rubber roller uses in flexible packaging the Hardness of rubber rollers is the most important factor. Swelling or softening of the compound is restricted and hence maintains the hardness of the roller stability.
Excellent Resiliency ability: even though there are high speed machines, the roller maintains its shape and elasticity which is very important for the roller to function properly.
Low Heat build-up:-Printing and lamination is done on high speed machines where it is important that the roller is not heated. Rollers made of Zenith compound has low heat build-up. Thereby maintaining its shape, Hardness and surface integrity.
Longer life of the rubber roller:-As all industries working of cost saving to increase profit of the company. On this view Zenith formulated the rubber compound which have long run-ability.
⇒ Zenith provides all applications of rubber rollers/sleeves for Rotogravure printing industries

ROTOGRAVURE RUBBER IMPRESSION (NIP) SLEEVE

ZENPRESS-P-45-95 ShA Water/Alcohol
Special elastomer for coating rubber impression rollers in rotogravure printing in presence of water or alcohol based inks. The fiber glass conductive sleeve and the special compound makes the product antistatic.

ZENPRESS-N-60-95 ShA Water/Alcohol
Special elastomer for coating rubber impression rollers with aliphatic solvents based inks and high printing pressure (up to 50 (kg/cm]) on paper, cardboard, laminated substrates and aluminium; highly resistant to edge cuts.

ESA PRINTING

ZENPRESS ESA ORANGE – 75-90 ShA High Temp.
Elastomer designed for printing impression rollers with electrostatic assist (ESA) for printing on plastic film and paper. ESA Orange eliminates ionization effect typical of traditional black rubber compounds with carbon black. The volumetric resistance, dynamic resistance and insulation values of ESA Orange comply with the electrostatic assist system installed on the printing press and the type of application.

ZENPRESS ESA GREEN – 80-90 ShA Water/Alcohol
Technopolymer designed to coat impression rollers for ESA printing on paper and cardboard with higher printing loads and high resistance to the abrasion with water, alcohol o acetate max 30% based inks. Cleaning with gasoline or with a blend of 80% Ethyl alcohol and 20% ethyl Acetate
